Ladies and Gentleman Tattoo in Surrey had their opening party last weekend and saw a great turn out!
Co-owner and shop manager Julia wanted to introduce the new studio to Inkluded readers…
“We’re a brand new studio, owned and ran by myself and Glen Carloss. We’re a couple and been together almost three years. Glen has been tattooing for three years and this is his first studio. I’m not an artist, so I’m basically in charge of everything but tattooing! Prior to opening the studio we lived over in Belgium for one year, Glen worked at Inksane Studio in Roeselare and I did laser tattoo removal.”
“Our studio comprises of myself as the studio manager, Glen co-owner and head artist, our resident artist Oliver Ayre and our really talented apprentice Claire Carloss – Glen’s younger sister. Both artists specialise in realism and it’s a completely custom studio. Oliver has been tattooing for just over a year. We want to set our studio apart as one that is very friendly, open and welcoming to all potential customers. We pride ourselves on providing a comfortable and positive environment for customers. At our opening party we made up 50 small gift bags to give to our attendees that consisted of a branded mug and some little promotional goodies. One mug contained a voucher for a full days tattooing with Glen and our lucky winner was over the moon!”
“We’re going to concentrate on establishing the studio this year, developing Claire and supporting Oliver’s progression. We met so many cool and very talented tattoo artists from around the world, during our time in Belgium and a few have already said they’d love to come and do a guest spot at our studio. We’d love to invite some over this summer, but if not, definitely next year.”
