Inkluded’s new online store is now open! We’re launching with five limited edition t-shirt designs, created exclusively for Inkluded by tattoo artists.
Inkluded was set up in 2014 with a strong mission to share the exceptional tattoo artistry being created in the UK today, and seeks to raise awareness of amazing art by creating an artistic community that you can feel included in.
By purchasing one of our t-shirts, you’re supporting this thriving creative industry.
That’s why, we don’t just want you to browse our products, we also want to introduce you to the guys who made them happen.
Say hello to Clare Lambert, who is one of the first artists creating an exclusive design for Inkluded’s new online store.
Stemming from a joke between friends regarding the Teletubbies, I am, and have been for a number of years, Clare La-La Lambert.
Defining myself, I’d say I am super ambitious. If I don’t have a new idea or project I want to explore then something isn’t functioning correctly. I’m extremely passionate about whatever it is I’m doing and pretty much my whole life and mindset is a reflection of that.
I have been tattooing for roughly three years although I’d say the last year and half has been more at a professional level, where I feel like things are finally falling into place. I currently tattoo from my own studio, Sakura Tattoo, which is located in Leicester city centre. I work with an amazing group of people.
My artistic style right now is quite mixed. I recently started using watercolours which has featured in more of my recent tattoo work – this is definitely something I want to build and focus on as I love the freedom of the style. I also love shapes. I love adding sharp edged shapes into soft watercolour splatters, I think that’s also why my recent collaboration with Mike love works so well.
I have previously toyed with the idea of creating a line of clothing, so I was super enthusiastic when approached by Inkluded. My design has come from a few separate designs that I planned to use, and ended up combining all of them!
When given the task of creating a t-shirt design with no rules, my mind pretty much bubbled for a few days. Having no boundaries is always super awesome in any artwork. My original idea stemmed from a lantern, to a jar lantern, to a jar lantern powered by fireflies, and a previous idea was simple cat skull… the result was this design! I love dot-work and watercolour together, and pastels will always be my favourite, and the range of different subject matter will hopefully connect with different people.
To anyone that purchases my t-shirt, I’m super thankful and people like you make every day worth getting up for. Keep following inkluded for more awesome future projects!
Clare’s t-shirt design is modelled by handpoke tattoo artist and Inkluded blogger, Lydia Amor.
Our online store is now closed. We have very few items left in stock and these are being sold through Stag & Raven.
