My interview with the Women With Tattoos project is now online.

This month I travelled to London to be part of this unique project.

Thank you to the project’s founder Eleni Stefanou for letting me part of this – I found the whole experience hugely cathartic, reflective and emotional.

Taking one day out from a life moving too fast to stop and be photographed and interviewed, really makes you think about your life, your tattoos and the decisions you have made.

In my interview I talk about being a writer, the tattoo industry and my experiences so far as a tattooed woman.

“There is huge debate about this in the industry at the moment. Many artists who have been tattooing for years feel that mainstream culture is having a negative impact on tattooing. A huge proportion of the people going into tattoo studios for work look to celebrities, tattoo TV shows, or what’s trending on Instagram, for their tattoo inspiration.”
