Tattoo Life Magazine, and the team that bring us the annual world-famous London Tattoo Convention, are hosting a brand new event in 2017… The Tattoo Collective.
Showcasing the best of British and Irish tattoo artists, it takes place on the weekend of 17th – 19th February at The Old Truman Brewery in bustling Brick Lane, East London. Inkluded will be there on the Sunday and I can’t wait.
New and very exclusive for 2017, The Tattoo Collective will bring together 150 of the country’s best tattoo artists. Unlike many other UK conventions, this rare weekend event is very carefully put together by the organisers. “Only the best 150 are invited to the exclusive convention,” say The Tattoo Collective. If you’re wanting to truly explore the very best of British and Irish tattoo art, then this is the tattoo convention for you. I’m excited to see some of my favourite tattooists at work.
As well as live tattooing, the exhibition will showcase over 150 original pieces of art created by the attending artists. The art exhibit will give visitors an exclusive opportunity to take home an artwork (off the body!), made by one of the finest tattooists in the country. This curated section will represent the diversity of the UK’s tattoo scene and offer a unique insight to the creative minds behind the tattoos.
Other larger art exhibits will be available to view, featuring multiple works by artists such as Claudia de Sabe, Jo Harrison and Hanumantra. Learn about traditional tattoo imagery in exhibitions focusing on Polynesian and Japanese tattoos. Say hello to tattoo vlogger Monami Frost in an exclusive meet and greet. And so, so much more.
Join me there! The Tattoo Collective is likely to sell out – tickets start from £20 and can be booked online.
