Blogosphere is the UK’s leading magazine for (yep, you guessed it) bloggers. The publication is made-up of a gorgeous 160+ pages of quality editorial and photography from, and for, the blogging community.
I am so excited to finally reveal that I have written an article in their upcoming issue 12 which explores the subject of tattoo blogging.
“Tattoos are yet to find a comfortable place in the blogging scene. It’s arguably the fastest growing cultural movement in the world today, but is tattooing taken seriously and does it have a future as a blog genre?”
Travelling down to London to be photographed for the piece was an amazing experience. Being able to share my thoughts on tattoo writing with the world in this way is a definite highlight of my journey as a blogger so far.
A huge thank you to talented photographer Emma-Jane Lewis who made me feel so comfortable (and glittery) and the incredible Blogosphere team (Alice Audley) for giving me this amazing opportunity. As bloggers, we are so lucky to have brands like this that are committed to sharing our stories and celebrating our diversity and individuality.
These pages have given me the chance to kick-off a discussion about how tattoos are represented in the media and on blogs. Are tattoos a missing link in the blogosphere – will there be / should there be more tattoo bloggers in the future? Share your thoughts below!
It was nice to be mentioned in this cool vlog from the lovely Harmony Nice! I mentioned her in my article and she’s featured the magazine in her latest video.
