“I want to make my mark in the universe and encourage others to follow their dreams and to not let originality die out…”

Hey Aleta, it’s nice to meet a fellow tattoo enthusiast. Would you like to introduce yourself to our readers?

Hey everyone. I’m Aleata Illusion and I’m from Cleveland, Ohio.

I’ve been working in the entertainment industry for as long as I can remember – it’s the only thing I’ve ever wanted to do! I love working for myself, sharing my creativity with the world, and being a part of a community that I adore so much.

I do many things – I’m a photographer, alternative / tattoo model, writer, blogger, clothing designer, model recruiter and more things along the way! I just want to live life to the fullest and share my experiences and art with everyone I can.

Ever since I was young I’ve been doing the same thing. It’s a release for me. I took photography in high school and college and that just turned into everyone wanting me behind the camera!

I’ve been taking opportunities as they come and creating my own projects as often as possible. I want to make my mark in the universe and encourage others to follow their dreams and to not let originality die out.

Do you have many tattoos?

Yes – I’ve never counted them, which is kind of funny, as I get asked that a lot!

My first tattoo was an AFI band logo on my chest with a bat above it. It has since been covered by Futakuchi-Onna. My most recent tattoo was my spectacular bum tattoo of Furutsubaki No Rei!

I have a bit of an obsession with Yokai (the name for spirits in Japanese folklore), especially the men-killing ones! I have plans on getting a ton more and incorporating more Japanese horror-themed pieces anywhere I can fit them!

Is there an artist you want to be tattooed by in the future?

There are so many talented artists around the world, so yes!

I’m going back to Justin Coppolino, he was on the TV show Tattoos After Dark. I would also love to get work by Alex Wright – he specialises in old-school horror so he’s a match made in hell for me!

Also, Paul Booth (another horror artist), Takashi Matsuba (a spectacular Tebori artist), Paul Acker, and Durb Morrison.

I would love to do more traveling so that I can get work done from many places around the world. It’s no fun getting it all done in one place! I think people rush through tattoos nowadays because it’s become such a mainstream fad, but I definitely want to take my time and fill my body with works I’ll never forget and that have significant meaning to me.

So, what can we expect from you in the future?

I’m starting a new burlesque fire-hooping show! I was actually just finishing some of the design on my new fire hoops.

I also have a show coming up in November where I will modelling as Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad and stripping down.

I have many new nude pin-up sets coming out, new shoots and publications on the way too, so watch this space and find me on Snapchat, Patreon, Suicide Girls and more.
