This weekend, Kat Winifred is heading down to Cardiff – here’s why she is looking forward to it.

I can’t believe the time has nearly come for Cardiff Tattoo and Toy Con! If you haven’t already, go get yourself tickets – it’s the 23rd and 24th July, which is next weekend people!

Here at Inkluded we have been looking forward to this one for quite a while, and this week I’ve been checking out what the convention has to offer – the line up is looking pretty damn sweet. I’m so excited that I have to share with you all what I am looking forward to seeing and doing.

Firstly, I’ve booked in to get tattooed by the wonderful human that is Hannya Jayne, and I cannot wait! Keep an eye on our Facebook page over the weekend as we’ll be doing some LIVE VIDEO of me getting tattooed.

I’m getting an oak tree tattooed for my love. I’m not a fan of name tattoos personally so I decided to get this tree because and we have one near where I live that has become a symbolic place for me and my beau since we started our relationship. I wanted to get something the reflect that. I always think tattoos come at the right time and this is being done for our anniversary so the timing is good!

I’ve recently gone vegan and am looking forward to stuffing my face with Fancy That! vegan cakes while I am getting tattooed… going to need that sugar!

Also trading are Mermaids Grave, who I’ve been following  on Instagram for a while now. I am super looking forward to seeing their creations in person and who knows maybe my love may want to treat me to something shiny… a girl can dream!

As well as everything tattoos and lots of awesome things to buy… there are toys, lots of toys. I love these ones created by Kerry Dyer Toys and Dr Barbados.

There will also be a palm reader there, Anna Lee Palmistry – I have been looking for a palm reader for a very long time, ever since I found out that my grandmother’s aunt was a palm reader too, on Weymouth beach for most of her life (after she learned the skill whilst in the circus). I’ve been curious about palmistry ever since hearing about this ancestor of mine… I can’t wait to hear what will be found in my palms.

I’m going to have to get some serious selfie game on at the Angel Effects Interactive Display where there will be an opportunity to check out the props and costumes from various popular franchises like The Avenger, Iron Man, Batman, Spiderman, Captain America, Transformers and more.

It’s set to be an awesome weekend – I hope to see you all there!
