Earlier this year I blogged about some of the UK’s upcoming TV shows and what I thought of the format of MTV’s controversial new contribution.
Just Tattoo of Us witnesses individuals getting particular tattoos that have been chosen by a friend or family member. The twist, however, is that they won’t get to actually see their new tattoo until it’s already been permanently put on their body.
The tattoo artists taking part in the programme have now been announced and the line-up includes the incredibly talented Cally-Jo.
Based in New York but originally from the UK, the artist works at well-known US studio Grit N Glory. Cally has also just been part of the major UK tattoo art exhibition now open in Cornwall.
Joining her are five other UK tattooists whom mostly seem to specialise in black and grey realism (except for London-based Atom who has a cool graffiti-inspired new-school style).
Here they are…

2. Danny Robinson (IG: @dannyrobinsontattoo)
3. Jodie Davies (IG: @jodiedaviestattoo)
4. Atom (IG: @tentonneatom)
5. Charl Davies (IG: @charldaviestattoos)
According to recent reports, a second series is already on the cards before the first has even aired.
Before I sweep in with my fun police hat on, I really want to hear thoughts from those of you whom undoubtedly watch more telly than myself.
What does the Inkluded community think of this new show and will you be watching? Have you been tattooed by any of the featured artists? Is it wrong that many will be walking away from the show with permanent artworks that they hate, but have to live with forever? Bring in the Tattoo Fixers, right?
I want to hear your thoughts! Comment below or over on Facebook.
